Nuremberg, June 02, 2021 – abl social federation GmbH (abl) has renamed its award-winning Omni-Channel-Marketing-Platform. From now on, OCMP will run under the name Omni-Channel-Management-Platform.  

Omni-Chanel Management Platform with a customer-centric focus

Developed in 2015, OCMP has been continuously adapted to technical innovations, feedback and current market trends over the past years. Customers from diverse industries such as banking, public transport, or cities and municipalities have since been working with the platform to gain additional value from their WLAN infrastructure.  As the current version V3 now contains numerous new features that significantly expand the range of services, OCMP is now to be rebranded as the Omni-Channel-Management-Platform. The renaming also underscores the new, customer-centric focus: OCMP customers are to be offered a holistic management approach with which the entire process chain can be covered by the platform. With various intelligent services, customers can upload their content centrally to OCMP, manage it there, and then play out the campaigns at various locations. In addition, intelligent analytics can be used for comprehensive performance measurement. Without the integration or use of further 3rd party tools, central management takes place via OCMP.

OCMP – Good Insights for better business actions

The patented OCMP developed by the Nuremberg-based company offers its customers the opportunity to learn more about the effectiveness of their campaigns. True to the motto “better decisions through better insights”, OCMP scores with Cisco-built hardware and an extremely user-friendly interface. Particularly valuable is the Analytics section, which offers a better presentation of the insights, i.e. the relevant figures, with a newly revised dashboard and expanded graphics. This allows operators to evaluate the success of their campaigns and optimize them – a real plus for all WiFi business operators. The evaluated data enables targeted addressing of consumers with selected messages. WLAN networks can offer additional added value with their own content or advertising during login, enabling abl partners to successfully re-monetize. In this way, costs incurred by the provider are redistributed through paid advertising messages.
